Why bodynature

Our body is the medium through which we experience the Earth. It is with us from start to finish. It holds our unique stories in its muscle and bones. By bringing our intention to our body and giving ourselves permission to move we can reconnect with ourselves and therefore reconnect with others and the natural world.

 

Niamh is a Contemporary Yoga and Movement Practitioner. Her artistic form is greatly informed by Body Weather. She has been a student of Frank Van de Van ( Body Weather, Amsterdam) since 2008 and completed a two year Apprenticeship in Herbalsim with Nikki Darryl in 2011.

 

As part of her own commitment to self care and wellness, Niamh continues to explore and experience the benefits of movement, herbs and nature.

Dropping into Movement – Movement classes that combines simple yoga postures, breath, free movement exploration and sound.

Roots and Remedies – A series or stand alone workshops that combine herbal medicine with simple body movements and breathing techniques that will support your health and well being.The workshops will explore movements and breathing techniques to support the different body systems. Participants may also get to make a variety of herbal medicines and body treats to take home.
