About

Humanature focuses on wellbeing, creativity and connection.

Humanature offers bespoke programmes tailored for all ages interested in connecting in meaningful ways to the self, community and our natural environment.  By tapping into peoples innate creativity, our activities provide grounding, playful, educational and fulfilling experiences primarily in nature.

Nature mirrors our own innate creativity. Our ability as humans to imagine and create, separates us from the other animals we share this planet with. It is this ability to imagine, and then reimagine that can ultimately bring about change to benefit ourselves and our planet. How we choose to come into relationship with ourselves, other people and our environment defines the outcome.

Humanature offers the much needed balance in our ever growing digital world. People of all ages are spending less time outdoors and as a result our health and our planet’s health is suffering. Humanature aims to combat this by building creative and resilient communities that respect and care for their natural environment.

Humanature aims to connect, create, excite, empower, imagine and inspire.

Our programmes include Think outside the box packages for business, Mucky Boots forest school, Going Wild family programme and Body Nature which uses herbs and movement to encourage self care and wellbeing. We work with experienced practitioners to develop collaborative projects that integrate story, visual arts , foraging, nature connection, bushcraft , mindfulness, music, performance and play.

Humanature strives to proof how spending time in nature increases self confidence, gives people a stronger sense of self and develops important life skills such as communication, problem solving and creative thinking.

“ Feeling so filled with gratitude and nourished on so many levels. Thank you for your vision, motivation and beautiful energy. Also the many many others that came and shared their skills, time and energy (yoga, art, music…) The fruits of your collaboration are inspiring and we are so glad we were guided to the camp ” Tyls Family- 2019

Humanature draws on Eco-Psychology methodologies to root our practice in a philosophy of inter-connectedness and self-care. Eco Psychology is a nature based model of practice that fully honours the deeply imaginative potential of the human psyche.
